Pour mieux faire d'une pierre deux coup, DLA passe en quotidien à peine un mois après l'ouverture de l'escale ...

On va bientôt s'apercevoir que la moitié du réseau n'est pas rentable...cette cie à vouloir trop grossir et trop rapidement va "exploser".....

En fait c'est le risque de toute expansion trop rapide mais je crois que le liste n'est pas limitée a Turkish, que dire de Emirates et sa flotte de A380 ( surtout avec lannonce des X en +) , et sa voisine Air arabia qui visiblement hors EAU semble plutot "couler" (sans un paquet de $ mis au pot par les actionnaires la Cie passait a la trappe) et en Europe, Asie ...
le seul petit paravant de Turkish c'est que la Cie s'est surtout developpée avec de petits modules (737 de 168 sieges)

Ouverture de GYD, KWI et TBS au départ de SAW...

TK se développe vraiment au départ de SAW! Je m'interroge sur ce choix. Est ce pour "couper l'herbe sous le pied" aux LCC turcs qui deviennent de plus en plus agressifs? Ou par volonté de ne pas trop éloigner le trafic d'Istanbul avant la construction du 3e aéroport?

Car je suis étonné que TK ne mette pas ESB plus en avant. C'est une bonne plate forme qui souffre d'un certain désintérêt de la part de TK.

Sabiha Gökçen International (SAW) a été agrandi pour palier à la saturation d'Atatürk International.
Mais du fait qu'il soit de l'autre côté du Bosphore (partie Asie d'Istambul), il est moins prisé...

Il n'en demeure pas moins un développement exponentiel!!

Turkey's flagship airline Turkish Airlines (THY) has denied a media report suggesting that the company is establishing a new airline in Niger.

Responding to questions from Today's Zaman on Friday, a THY official said company management has not made any decisions regarding the issue. A reports released by Reuters said the Nigerien government had announced they would have a 51 percent share, with THY to hold the remaining 49 percent, in the new airline. According to the report, the name of the new carrier would be Niger Airways. Niger has not had a national flag carrier since 1985.
