Emirates to stay at Dubai International for 15 more years

Chief executive of Dubai Airports, Paul Griffiths has said Dubai International airport is to remain home for Emirates Airline for a further 15 years after a review of all the stakeholders' expansion needs, Flightglobal.com has reported. "We worked out quite early on that DWC couldn't be created in the timescale that Emirates needed it," Griffiths said. "Our revised strategy will see us develop the existing airport from the current 60 million to 90 million passengers by 2018."
