HOP!-Airlinair (AN, Paris Orly) will take delivery of five ATR72-600s fromAvions de Transport Régional (Toulouse Blagnac) beginning in March with the rest scheduled to arrive in May, June, September, and October of this year. Intended as replacements for the outgoing fleet of ATR72-500s, the type will enter revenue service in April.
Airline pilot union, SNPNAC, said in a December letter to its membership that the turboprops would be based out of Paris Orly and used on 'sensitive' routes such as Basle/Mulhouse/Freiburg, Quimper,Clermont-Ferrand, and Strasbourg among others.
