WEST JET ENCORE, ça change des Express et Connection

CALGARY - Following a vote by WestJetters, WestJet today announced that the name of its new regional airline will be WestJet Encore. The regional airline will launch in the second half of 2013, using Bombardier Q400 aircraft to serve smaller Canadian communities.

"We are excited to launch WestJet Encore, leveraging the phenomenal strength of the WestJet brand delivered through our WestJetters," said Bob Cummings, WestJet Executive Vice-President, Sales, Marketing and Guest Experience.
